    FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Can another pastor perform the ceremony without participation from St. Paul’s pastor? Yes.
  • Is the throwing of rice permitted? No, but bird seed may be used.
  • Are alcoholic drinks permitted at receptions? No.
  • Are wedding bulletins available? Is there a fee? You may choose to create your own bulletins or order them from our catalogs. If enough notice is provided, SPLC will print the bulletins at no additional charge.
  • Does SPLC have a wedding director? No, you will make all of your plans with the church secretary/wedding coordinator and the pastor. However, the pastor requests that you have a director for the processional during rehearsal and wedding ceremony. While the pastor is in charge of the wedding rehearsal, your director is responsible for organizing the wedding party participants. The director may be a family member or a professional wedding planner. SPLC’s wedding coordinator will manage access to SPLC facilities and provide onsite assistance.
  • Does SPLC have an event coordinator? Yes. You will need to arrange your plans with the church secretary and/or SPLC Wedding/Events Coordinator.
